The group had no plans
for the weekend as all our work had already been equally separated, so I went
to see our product manufacturer to get a glimpse of what the second model
looked like and boy did I love what I saw.
Our designed had really
played out of her boots with our second design with one look I knew that this
backpack was going to be a hit. I was just crossing my fingers that the cost
would be low enough that we could afford to employ her full time. She had done
some calculations and worked out that in order for us to have 500 bags by the
middle of June she would need to start manufacturing at least 5 bags a day from
next week onwards. But things were looking hopeful with regards to the pricing
we just needed to do the final step which was attach the leather straps and the
bag would be complete.
