Sunday brought the meeting with Gabrielle Frazer, our potential product designer and producer. We all spoke about the product, ways in which to attack the situation of producing it, possibilities of numbers able to be produced, costs, expenses, wages, profit margins, potential adjustments of the product, materials, marketing, and other importantinformation.
What we wanted as a group from the meeting was to discuss the final feasibility of the product. This was because we did not want to be offering Gabrielle a price too low or too high. Therefore we discussed mark-up of the product, possible materials and places in which to resource it.
We were slightly worried about the meeting as the design and concept was Gabrielle’s. This meant that we were scared she would charge an amount we felt would not work. Therefore after the meeting we were very happy with how it went, we were happy with how we approached it and the way in which Gabrielle reacted to our offers.
It was good to implement a strategy in which we would approach the meeting with. We had offers to present to Gabrielle in the case of her not liking our ideas to move forward. We did this because of past lesson learnt and the way in which we have seen with first hand experience how planning improves something such as a meeting
