Exhausted, we all made
our way onto campus at 8am to get to our makeup marketing tut- because we had
missed it yesterday because of cake sale. And tonight is our marketing test,
and most of us have done no studying because our focus had been on cake sale
for the past two weeks, so we had a big studying day ahead of us today.
Everyone was exceptionally eager to hear how much money we had made yesterday,
Sarah did a brief count last night and it looks like we made about R15000.00
profit but we are not sure so keep posted and you will find out soon!
Anyway, our primary
focus was on our marketing test that we had tonight- everyone locked themselves
in the library and did some last minute cram learning! After the test we all
just met outside to see how the test went for everyone- and we came to the conclusion
that it went terribly! It was the longest, most challenging test ever written,
so let’s just say there were not too many smiling faces after that.
We learnt a big lesson
today and that is to manage time accordingly, if we had planned our week in advance
we would have already learnt for marketing so that when the day arrived we were
prepared, but we did not manage our time accordingly and had to learn for
marketing on the day which will lead to poor results.
